Sharemasterindia.com: Nestle India has moved to Mumbai High Court asking review of the order on Maggi brand of noodles issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on June 5, 2015, the company said in a release to exchanges on Thursday.
The FSSAI had asked Nestle India to withdraw Maggi noodle products from all the retail outlets in India for high content of lead and mono-sodium glutamate or MSG, a taste enhancer.
Following this order, Nestle India had removed all batches of Maggi noodles from all the retail outlets in India.
As of 12.12 p.m. shares in Nestle India traded 0.68 per cent higher at Rs 6,098 apiece, compared to 1.02 per cent gain in the broader Nifty
